Remember What Needs to be Remembered

Michelle Malkin wrote a post on her site today, about how Obama plans to take the real meaning of the Sept. 11th terrorist attacks (Or Sept. 11th "man made disaster" in liberal speak) and bastardize it to further his radical left agenda.

There is nothing more profoundly insulting than to take for granted the deaths of all the innocent souls and the heroes that went in to the chaos to help the victims. The mere idea that Obama wants us to forget the sting to our hearts in order to "re-brand" the day into a leftist carnival is overwhelmingly sickening and yet not at all surprising.

He plans to call it a "day of service", but I don't know what that means. I'm assuming it involves the wealthy and middle class being guilted into volunteering their time to help the poor, as opposed to just their paychecks as usual. If this is the case, I hope that you take a moment to remind any rallying liberal that volunteering is not just a one day task-it should be year round. Typical elitist liberals thinking that just one day of volunteering somehow clears their conscience of doing absolutely nothing to help anyone but themselves any other time. It's just like how tossing some spare change into a kettle at Christmas time somehow absconds all wealthy elitist liberals of their conspicuous consumption for the rest of the year.

What liberals never seem to understand is that taking care of those less fortunate than ourselves is not a once or twice a year thing. It's not something that you do to get positive attention when someone is watching. It should be genuine and for the sake of helping, not for the sake of self promotion.

Obama and his statist friends want us to forget the pain of the terrorist attacks of 9-11. They want the reality of that horrific day out of our memories in order to get us to lower our guard and befriend those that want to kill us for "diplomatic" reasons. Isn't Obama's whole foreign policy just to *hug it out* with all our enemies, right after we bend forward and take it in the...(fill in the blank).

Guess what Obama? I WILL NEVER FORGET.

So if this does happen, if the liberals ask you to "move forward" and "turn the horror into a positive" I hope that you refuse. We don't need to dwell in the pain but we need to feel it on some level. Our nation needs to stop and remember the loss of our feelings of safety each year on that day. We need to slow down our worlds and remember the innocents that threw themselves out of skyscrapers because it was the only way they could be in control amidst the utter chaos. We need to teach our kids about the people racing down flight after flight after flight of stairs in abject terror as the walls around them crumbled. We can't ever forget the phone calls placed to emergency dispatchers pleading for help, or to tell their children and families good-bye. We need to remember those that tried to overcome the terrorists while their airplane plummeted to the ground. We owe it to the victims to remember the real meaning of Sept. 11th.

We must stand together to keep the essence of Sept.11th pure. Teach your kids what happened. Tell future generations about how we banded together in solidarity with our tears on that day and afterwards. Make sure the people that were not born yet on that day are able to "get it"-- not Obama's ridiculous version of "remembrance" by planting trees, but the raw fear and sadness followed by the pure unity and patriotism that the terrorists made us feel that day.

It needs to be a day of honoring the fallen, not a day of donating old clothes to the poor. We have 364 days each year to help those less fortunate, but only one day to remember what actually happened.

The patriarch of our family lost his battle with cancer this morning. Taking the day off today to be with family so there will not be a post tomorrow (Friday).

Yup...that about sums up Ted Kennedy.


I know his death is sad for some, but I refuse to get all worked up about it. To me, Ted Kennedy was simply a drunken, womanizing murderer that used his last name to get out of much deserved prison time for Chappaquiddick. The man defined absolute partisan hypocrisy.

The mere fact that he asked for a law to be changed to allow the liberal governor to appoint a liberal to take his seat speaks volumes about his character. His refusal to stand by the law HE helped to pass which prevented the Republican governor (Romney) from getting that same power some years back is simply gross.

Kennedy worked tirelessly to raise OUR taxes (the average American pays about 10% of their income in taxes each year) while he only paid about .04% of his income in taxes. He had tax shelters in Aruba and accounts in the names of his family members to avoid paying so much of his "hard earned" money in taxes. He didn't like paying taxes but thought that all of us working class people should.

Teddy called him self an environmentalist, yet when a Cape Cod windmill project threatened to obstruct his sail boating landscape he tried to get a friend in the Army Corps of Engineers to "investigate" the project--and find reasons to shoot it down. Too bad for him that his friend's investigation only pointed out how successful and positive the Cape Wind project would inevitably be. Again, it seems that Ted Kennedy was only "green" when the cost or inconvenience applied to us and not him.

Oh, and lets not forget that he was the guy that created the Obamacare amendment that excluded members of Congress from the very government run plan they would create. According to him, the public plan is good enough for us, but not for him or his politician pals. Smart thinking on his part I suppose, since a government run plan would surely not have given him the top notch medical care that he got for the last year. At his age they would have just offered him a blue pill...

To me, he typified exactly what I can't stand about Democrats. He is the typical liberal that feels that they should get to play by a different set of rules than anyone else. I can't support that kind of blatant hypocrisy.

He was not a man of integrity, certainly not a man of honor and I for one, will not be sobbing today and talking about "what a great man" he was. See, what he and all the other liberals of his ilk never seem to understand is that the TRUE equality that they claim to stand for will only come when THEY start subjecting themselves to the same oppression that they want us to suffer under.

What's good for the wealthy elitist geese should always be what's good for the private sector gander...

Socialized Medicine's Guide to Call Center Diagnosing

In a socialized medicine system, the main focus is cost control, not providing medical care. This story is a horrific warning to all those "hopey changey" people who think the government taking over our healthcare is somehow going to have a better outcome than all the other government program failures. It talks about not one, not two, but THREE deaths caused by call center representatives all giving an incorrect diagnosis over the phone for illnesses that were then left untreated. A beautiful teenager, a precious two year old and a much loved mother of three kids.

These people are just a few examples of what "cost cutting" measures do. When everyone gets free healthcare (including the illegals currently here and all the ones that will surely flock here once Obamacare is passed) we will see our healthcare system go from being the best in the world, to one where the government has to reduce the level of service to keep from going belly up. I just don't see China issuing us a blank check to permanently support an idiotic system.

Calling the cable company is frustrating enough...long waits, rude customer service representatives that don't care about your issue. Do you want these people diagnosing you and your children?!?! Half the time when you call a 1-800 number you can't even get someone that speaks English well enough to understand...it's only a matter of time before Obama has to outsource our "medical phone care" to India. I mean, hey, Obama does seem to care more about doing whats best for the international community than for the evil hard working Americans his policies seem so eager to punish. It wouldn't surprise me a bit if he eventually decides to save money and have unskilled script readers in other countries providing our basic medical care...to him it would be a win/win. Americans die (more cost cutting! SCORE!) AND he gets credit for employing the poor in third world countries. Geez, then he can be the World's Messiah instead of just the liberal's Messiah.

Mr. President,

I would like to turn myself in as a “misinformation” spreader. I am a 30 year old happily married mother of two. I am flagging myself so that I can make my reasons for fearing Obama-care known.

My biggest reason for not wanting to be forced onto a government run plan is that I don’t trust the government. It’s as simple as that. The only thing we need reformed is our current, power hungry administration. You guys have NEVER run ANY program successfully so excuse me if I prefer not to put the lives of my family members in your hands. You said it yourself Obama, the government run option would be like the crap-sandwich that is USPS compared to the successful private options.

My daughter was born with major complications that threatened her life at birth. Every day I am thankful that she was born at a hospital with a level 1 trauma unit that had brilliant doctors. Had she been born in a hospital with out-dated equipment or doctors that were government employees then she most certainly would not be alive today. Assuming your science czar isn’t putting sterilants in the water down the road, if we have a third child and our baby was born with medical issues, I fear that he or she would be denied care due to rationing. I worry about this because your advisor Dr. Emmanuel has stated openly that he feels care should be given to those between the ages of 15-40 if resources are scarce. Lets be honest, you guys are running it, so it will be bankrupt considering that every poor person from every impoverished country will high tail it over our borders to get a piece of the pie. IF my sick child does qualify for care, will the doctors and equipment be good enough to even help?!?

So please, feel free to add me to your “Enemies List”. Here are the things I will be telling to anyone that will listen, my reasons for not wanting your healthcare:

*You and the people in your administration are not qualified to run a business, let alone the nation’s healthcare.

*Nobody of sound mind trusts ACORN or SEIU. NOBODY. Yet you involve them heavily in the implementation of your healthcare plan.

*I don’t like the idea that a government that couldn’t even keep a “Cash for Clunkers” program running for more than 4 days, could be in charge of my doctor.

*Socialism doesn’t work. Period. Never has, in the history of civilization. That’s why many countries are moving away from it.

*The fact that you want to rush this, along with everything else, totally destroys my trust in your motives. Say what you want, but this has been on the table for 15 years. There is no reason you can’t slow down and take the time to do it right. It’s OUR lives on the line here.

*Under no circumstance should abortion be funded. Period, end of story.

*Don’t try to sell me something you won’t use. YOU sign up for it first. Then we will talk.

These are the main reason I won’t support you, your healthcare proposals and your administration. I DON’T TRUST YOU. I will tell everyone I possibly can why I don’t trust you or your crap-sandwich healthcare plan. You haven’t earned my trust, therefore you don’t deserve it.

I wish I had the time to make this letter as profound and as well written as the one I’ve been writing to you in my head all afternoon, but I promised my kids we could make cookies and they are waiting~

A "Community Organizer" should never complain when communities organize...

Taught by the master himself. How are we "manufactured anger"?? How are we a "mob"??? Here I thought we were just playing by his rules...



The quotes below come from Saul Aliksky's book "Rules for Radicals" (1971). A book that Obama is VERY comfrotable with as he learned and taught lessons based on Alinsky's beliefs in community organizing.

Maybe "The Great Orator" should stick to his trusty teleprompter...this is hilarious! Obama attempted to lie and tell people that private insurance can "compete" with the government run option. He compared healthcare to the post office and mentioned that it's the post office that sucks, while the private companies are just fine. He's telling us that the government has screwed up the post office, and at the same time thinks we should let them take over our health care?!?!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?

If you have an urgent piece of mail you need delivered, and its life or death, are you really going to send it USPS? When your life and heath absolutely, positively, have to be preserved - you call private enterprise because the government screws things up. THAT'S WHY FedEx and UPS are "doing just fine"...

I think Obama is acting "stupidly" again...

If you live in Kansas City and are noticing that your air conditioner seems to be broken-it isn't. Your power company has simply turned it off "for you" because they have decided that you need to reduce your energy usage even though it's hot as hell outside these days. Kansas City is currently testing what's called a "smart grid" which enables the power company to reduce your energy usage by controlling the temperature of your home, as well as other appliances. Don't believe me? Oh yeah, it's true. I can't believe it either.

So here we thought that all we had to worry about was some government bureaucrats telling your doctor what medicines and medical procedures to use on you based on their cost effectiveness...now we have to worry about the inevitable take over of our nation's energy usage as well. Is Obama REALLY that hell bent on reducing our quality of life to that of our forefathers? What was the purpose of all our technological advancements if we can't reap their rewards?!? I wouldn't be surprised if Obama soon has us all using candle light and fires to heat and light our homes, and forces us to use bicycles to get to work...all in the name of "climate change" or as I like to call it...controlling our lives while using junk science as an excuse to do it "for our own good".

The fact that any of this is really happening-I mean REALLY happening, seems like a bad dream. I never thought we would get here. Even when he was elected I thought "there are checks and balances in place to protect us if his intentions are bad"...but he controls the checks and he controls the balances so we could be in trouble. It seems as though his sole purpose is to reduce our freedoms. I hate to sound like one of those weirdos that chatters endlessly about the end of the world being near..but lets be honest, this IS a scary time we are in. I don't trust HIM, and he doesn't deserve my trust since he has proven himself a liar and a fraud. He hasn't come through with any of his campaign promises and he appoints these nutjob czars to skirt around our political process. It's scary to me. It just feels like this man is really out to bring us down. Perhaps I'm just in a dramatic mood...but so much evidence I have seen really leads me to believe that he could do a lot of damage. Look what he has done in just six months and now we have 3.5 more years for him to execute his plans.

And the worst thing yet? As usual he wants to FORCE a lifestyle on us, that he has chosen- yet once again, it's a lifestyle that HE is exempt from suffering under. He wants us to suffer and die with government run health "care" that insures the uninsured (including illegals) at the expense of everyone. Sure, we will all have coverage but none of us will get any actual care. Now he supports a "smart grid" system that will enable the power company to turn down our heat in the winter, while he turns HIS UP! Remember this? Our dear Mein Fuhrer actually prefers the heat to be higher than normal in the White House while he is in it, because he is after all, from Hawaii... so it's okay for us to wear 4 layers of clothes in the cold of winter....just so long as he can feel comfy in his short sleeves. Because as per usual with elitist liberals, what is good for us geese, is never good for their gander...people can suffer and freeze to death, just as long as THEY don't have to be bogged down with long sleeves.

Who's "Astro-turf" Again?!?!?

WH Press Secretary Gibbs stated that the healthcare protestors were "manufactured" and compared them to a mob.
Pelosi lied about Healthcare protestors carrying swastikas and stated that those protesting were "Un-American" and called them "Astro-turf" protestors.

Can you tell who were legit protestors and who came after getting phone calls from their community organizers? Hint: One group has home made signs, of every shape, size and color saying an array of organic things. The other group has printed signs and paid day laborers that didn't speak or read English and admitted that they didn't even know what the signs they were carrying said.

Based on the utter lack of respect our Democratic politicians have shown, one would think that the evil healthcare dissenters were "organized" by their evil conservative organizations. The reality is, the American people are coming out in droves to protest, not only healthcare, but our government's desire to run our lives completely. It's the leftist "pro-single payer" people that are organized into "astro-turf" support.

So let the Democrats degrade us. It simply hurts them. People are starting to realize that in absence of fact, they attack. The Democrats have NO ability to sell us on the merits of their health care legislation, so they are left to attack us as a way to divert attention from what they are doing. People are getting smart to their game and I really hope that moderates and liberals see through this sham administration and turn away from the DNC for good.

The way I see it, each time Pelosi opens her mouth, the right get new voters.

I find it funny that she is so offended at people protesting (literally for their lives) when her party is known for its violent, property damaging, "bloody" red paint spattering, SCREAMING, police-fighting, fist pumping, chaining themselves to trees type idiot protestors. People that would protest everything and anything just as long as they get to go home and feel righteous and tell everyone how cool it was.

When ACORNS attack!!!!

A friend emailed me a link to this video that has been going around. It shows members of the SEIU (aka: ACORN) physically assaulting a black conservative at a townhall. This was at Russ Carnahan's event and funny enough, you would think that the tea party people would be the ones all riled up considering they were told to line up at the front of the building, and then were denied entry as union members slipped in through a side door. Apparently Carnahan only allowed supporters inside the rally, way to support both sides of the argument Carnahan. Way to be courageous enough to listen to your voters. Way to have some balls and represent the people...you wuss.

With our current government we no longer have a representative body that listens to constituents, we have a group of politicians that do whatever the hell they want (or what they are told to do by unions/lobbyiest/socialists) and then they explain to us why they are doing the polar opposite of what the majority wants.

Considering this was an attack on a conservative black man (or an"Uncle Tom" as liberals would call him) I wonder if our racist Attorney General Holder will prosecute this as a hate crime?!?! The victim was supposedly attacked FOR being black AND conservative, which is in itself a huge crime to the koolaid drinking blacks and minorities that prefer to wear the slave chains of the liberal party. Being a black conservative is not a violation of US law (yet) but attacking someone FOR being a black conservative IS against the law. By Holder's own definition it IS a hate crime, but the problem holder has is that the attacker was a black liberal thug, and we all know that the hate crime laws were not created to punish black on white or black on black crime...only white on others crime (let's just be honest..) so what is Holder to do?!?

I've said it before and I'll say it again: the Democratic party is pitting themselves against the American people. It's not looking good for them in 2010 and even worse in 2012. We just need to stave off all the damage they want to do before then...

Where are Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton?!?! This is a perfect opportunity to get some camera time, I mean, defend the oppressed. Oh, wait, how soon I forget! It's OKAY for ACORN/SEIU members to be violent...they are "protesting" and using their right to "free speech" but when conservatives hold signs and shout its a "mob"..

This is a copy of the letter Senator Cornyn sent to the White House asking them to cease the program of having Amerian's ratting each other out for having opposing view points.

The very fact that this is even possible in our great nation is so sick, demented and disheartening that I cannot even believe it. I feel like soon anyone that has ever voted for the GOP will end up in a cell charged with crimes against liberalism. We are getting into terrifying territory here folks. The White House should NOT be asking for informants to seek out opposition for them.

The rational part of my brain says "ok, realistically there are millions of people that don't like Obama OR socialism, so for him to try anything against us is ridiculous. The dramatic part of my brain counters with "He won't do it all at once. Its not like he's gonna send out the military to round us up and take us to the showers. First he will take away our guns and the right to protect ourselves from a tyrannical government. Then he will limit speech with something like The "Fairness" Doctrine to disenfranchise us and minimize our ability to communicate and 'community organize' with like minded people for support...all the while he will be keeping tabs on who "we" are." I know, I know, I'm taking on the dramatic flair of Glenn Beck but still...this is scary stuff. I don't like feeling like I'm being watched simply for my beliefs. They've already called me a "right wing extremist" and likened me to a terrorist, so what's to stop me from worrying that they will eventually DO something about us "opposers of THE way of Mein Fuhrer".

We know how corrupt Obama is, he comes from Chicago corruption, where you don't campaign against people, you destroy them.

For 8 years these psychos have screamed to the hills about how evil Bush is and how they have the "right" to dissent. Now, these very people support the idea of squashing anyone with a difference of opinion. Where is our right to dissent without political intimidation? The hypocrisy is overwhelming.

Do I have to worry about Obama's secret police sweeping through towns and rounding us up? Probably not...yet anyways. A year ago I would have laughed that thought off...not in my America. Now, after seeing how Obama and the media work together to convince sheeple that his dictatorship is "the way"...I'm not so sure that would be an impossibility. Eventually the people will rise up against it.

Is this idiot for real? She makes assumptions on the protesters based on HOW THEY ARE DRESSED and expects a level of respect simply because of what state she is from?!?! Typical..focus on the fashion and not the issue.

Why is it that when liberals protest it is "helping a cause" and when anyone else protests it is "a diversion" aimed at attacking the President? Last I checked, we were "screaming and yelling" about socialized health care, not Obama.

Our liberal Congress just doesn't get it. They are SO OUT OF TOUCH with Americans it's not even funny. They are wealthy, aristocratic elitists that think they can solve the world's ills just by enslaving us 'little people'. They have absolutely forgotten that they are supposed to REPRESENT us, not DICTATE to us.

The healthcare dissenters are not just people trying to hurt Obama. They are AMERICANS voicing their opinions to a president that wants to hurt them. They are the voices of people screaming not to be a diversion, but to demand that the people elected to REPRESENT THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE actually start to LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE. There have been plenty of people at these protests talking about how they regret voting for him.

The ONLY thing she was right about was that we do want change in Congress. Let the little dictators look for jobs in the private sector, just like us. Put new representatives in Congress, people that will listen.

Someone needs to tell this moonbat that she is an embarrassment, even by liberal standards!

Post Racial America: Discourse=Racism

I LOVED this story on the new Obama posters popping up in random places around the country. If you haven't heard about them, one is posted in this post. Funny enough, this outrage from LA Weekly is just a tad hypocritical since they were the ones that posted a COVER of Bush with vampire teeth.



The Obama poster has nothing to do with race whatsoever, but as usual, anyone that disagrees with Obama is immediately called a racist in an effort to shame the dissenters back into the shadows.

Check out the rest of the photos in this post and ponder how quickly the liberal media forgets. Apparently we are all supposed to respect the President, simply for being our president. We are not allowed to be angry when we realized that we were all victims of a bait and switch. ALL of his campaign promises were lies...all of them. Yet he is our president so we are to show respect.

Funny though, they didn't take that stance when Bush was president. I didn't see ANY liberals in the media offering respect or defending their Republican President, simply because he was our nation's leader. They were too busy attending theater that "thinly parallels" an assassination of Bush. Back then, dissent was considered "healthy" and "patriotic". Where was the outrage then?

Remember his promises of no lobbyists, no earmarks, transparency, posting all legislation online for 5 days to be read instead of rushing it so fast nobody, including the politicans, have a chance to even read it, ending the war-to name a few. In a blatant slap-in-the-face to "Hope" and "Change" he also has one of the most corrupt administrations in the histroy of the United States full of the same old cronies that have been around forever*. There are more criminals and people of low moral character in his White House than there are in most prisons.

Lesson learned: calling Obama a socialist is racist, in spite of all the evidence confirming the accusation. Not acceptable. Joking about assassinating Bush- acceptable.

Spreading realities like a virus...

Let's make sure we make every Congressional Democrat squirm like this over their August break. They need to know that we will NOT support them in this, nor will we vote for them (not that we would vote for a Democrat anyways. For all politicians, voting FOR Obamacare should be a career ender. Period.

Make noise people, write newspapers with the realities, spread the word to liberal friends and family members. We need everyone, not just GOPeeps, to be standing up to this gangster government.

It's a good piece and it may be a way to influence the koolaid drinkers since he is on (EGADS!) mainstream liberal media. Spread the word people. Let's make the TRUTH of gov't healthcare spread like a virus...

This is just another example of the left hand not knowing what the further left hand is saying. It seems like Pelosi, Reid and Frank are always saying the opposite of what Obama tells us.
