Interesting, Olbermann ATTACKS Brown and says that he "promotes violence against women" and the reason he cites for this accusation? He says that the father of two teenage girls "promotes violence against women" for not publicly condemning a comment yelled out by SOMEONE ELSE in a crowd at one of his rallies, a comment that Brown may or many not have even heard.
Doesn't Olbermann's accusal of Brown for "supporting violence against women & against politicians with whom he disagrees" just SMACK of stupidity and hypocrisy. I mean, you don't see Brown out there verbally berating people he disagrees with, because then he would be stooping to Olbermann's level. So how can Olbermann attack someone for "promoting violence" against those with whom he disagrees with ABSOLUTELY NO FACTUAL PROOF...especially since Olbermann wrote the book on using vitriolic hate-filled venom spewing. The hypocrisy is overwhelming, along with the utter shock that this idiot is on TV at all.
Apparently Brown is supposed to defend everything that everyone says all the time...yet Olbermann doesn't require his left loony moonbats to do the same- so why the double standard??? Where was Olbermann's "defense" of every evil non-factual hate-filled opinion that Janeane Garafalo has spewed on his show? Where was Olbermann's insistence that Obama issue statements "decrying" every nasty thing that people in the crowds of all his rallies have shouted?
But Olbermann is a defender of women's rights so naturally someone making a nasty comment about a woman is offensive to his delicate, nurturing sensibilities. I mean, Olbermann has a long history of standing up against hatred of women. He is the first to stand up and defend against hate-filled mysogynistic comments against women as seen below (skip to 4:08 to keep from vomiting).
Notice how valiantly Olbermann stands up for women, when Garafalo makes a mysogynistic comment about conservative women having "Stockholm Syndrome(insinuating that conservative women are stupid hostages that believe anything their conservative men think).
Notice all the times Olbermann stood up against the mainstream media and lefty attack sites like the Snuffington Post when they attacked Palin for her hair, her legs, her glasses, her dialect, her children and anything else they could think of not relating to substance. Olbermann was a beacon of feminist hope when he decried the horrible attacks of Palin's teenage daughters in the media.
Oh, wait. Olbermann HASN'T stood up for women---ever. See, in his mind it is totally acceptable to attack women...just as long as the women you attack are conservative.
Doesn't Olbermann's accusal of Brown for "supporting violence against women & against politicians with whom he disagrees" just SMACK of stupidity and hypocrisy!?! I mean, you don't see Brown out there verbally berating people he disagrees with, because then he would be stooping to Olbermann's level. Do you want to know the best part of this whole thing? It's that Olbermann condemns Brown for not decrying the evils of an audience member's attempt at a (albeit bad) joke about "sticking a curling iron up Coakley's ass". Yet Olbermann does this while supporting the candidate that LET A MAN GO FREE AFTER RAPING A FEMALE CHILD WITH A CURLING IRON.
One more time for good measure:not publicly condemning a joke made about raping a woman with a curling object is so offensive to Olbermann, that it warrants a psychotic attacking rant live on his show. But actually allowing a man that raped a (female) child with a curling iron to go free: totally acceptable to Olbermann and worthy of his vote.
No, seriously...Olbermann supports a woman that freed a guy that stuck a curling iron inside of a little girl, but he draws the line at making a joke about it.
Only in a liberal's mind is it worse to joke about a crime than to actually commit the crime. Wouldn't want to hurt anyone's self esteem with a cruel joke, I mean, there was probably a reason that man raped the child, it was because of his bad upbringing...the poor guy.
It's too bad Olbermann isn't concerned enough with violence towards women to crucify Coakley for letting a child rapist go free. I think that the fact that Olbermann supports "Soft-on-child-rape-Coakley" is actually like promoting violence against little girls. Hey Olbermann, those little girls grow up to be women you know.
Lastly, I love how he ends his "apology" with an assertion that he is right because nobody takes him seriously enough to bother "disproving" his baseless half-witted attack. I have news for Olbermann, it's hard to pretend you are the intellectual that you so want to pretend to be, when you don't even have a basic knowledge of our nation and our laws. Let me each you something, we are a nation that doesn't force people to "disprove" ridiculous accusations made by hateful-troll-like-pseudo-intellectual-wannabes, in fact the burden of proof is actually on the accuser. Just an FYI on that....
I think this entire episode proves what 99.999% of the 4 people that watch his show have known for years: Olbermann is a demented mentally feeble ignoramus-which is the ONLY reason anyone watches him. The few people that watch his show only do so to make fun of him. NOBODY takes this idiot seriously. Olbermann seems to be the only person on earth that doesn't realize that everyone thinks he is a joke, just not a very funny one-kind of like that comment from the guy at the Brown rally.
